Dr. Tracy Hoskins

Hi, I'm Tracy Hoskins.  I am the Lead Pastor at Woodlawn Community Church of the Nazarene.  I am primarily responsible for overall leadership of the church and for the teaching on Sunday mornings.  In addition, I am privileged to give leadership to our capable staff.  I find joy in giving them the freedom and encouragement to do what they do best without micromanaging them.

Basic Stuff:
I love my family!  My wife, Jill, is my best friend and soul-mate.  We met in college.  We have been married for thirty eight years!  God gave us two beautiful daughters, Amber and Alyssa.

Amber lives in Lynchburg, VA.  She is full-time mother for Ripken (born July, 2011) and Isla (born November, 2012), Banks (born November, 2014), and Cy (born September, 2016).  Amber's husband, Landon, works full-time at Harman Eye Center as an opthalmologist. A few years ago he took third place at the Remax/Pinnacle Long Drive Championship (golf) in Mesquite, Nevada (He hit the ball over 400 yards!).  The  second week of May, 2015, he competed in America Ninja Warrior in Orlando.

Alyssa is a registered nurse.
She is married to Bobby Forest.  They are presently serving as Volunteer Missionaries at the Pukilani Church of the Nazarene, Maui, Hawaii.  Their title is... "Pastors to Young Adults"... but they serve in many capacities.   Bobby works in the church's garden and mentors several men; Alyssa is serving as church secretary, NMI President, MOPS Director, and as Work & Witness Coordinator for the church.  Together they lead worship, lead various Bible study groups, and assist with the church's outreach ministries. Please pray for them and their ministries!   September, 2016  their first child, Barrick (Bear) was born.

In a previous life:
Before moving to Woodlawn in January 2008, I served in full-time ministry for twenty five years in three churches: Muskegon, Michigan; Jacksonville, Florida; Valparaiso, Indiana.
